Haven't heard about Occupy Wall Street yet? Google it.

The occupation of Wall Street began on Sept.17, and the movement has spread like wildfire, with groups of citizens meeting in over 1,100 cities to oppose economic inequality, corporate greed, the widening gap of the rich and poor.

The residents of Nelson are rising to the occasion.

On Saturday, Oct.15 there will be a demonstration at City Hall at 1 pm, with a March at 2 pm, returning to City Hall for speakers, live music and fun. Bring your bells.

The theme is “Wake Up, Nelson!”
