Pass Creek Fall Fair gets set to crow

Organizers are hard at work preparing for the 16th annual Pass Creek Fall Fair which is held on Saturday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept. 25.

New exhibits to look for this year are the Country Fair Baking contest, and Castlegar residents are challenging Trail and Nelson residents to the new wine and beer exhibit competition.

They are also encouraging youth to enter exhibits for cash prizes.

On Saturday and Sunday there is fun for all ages, come check out the Family Carnival with bouncy house, Bubbles the Clown, blacksmith demos, old fashioned thrashing demo, fall fair exhibits, BC’s largest vendor village, educational displays, “Farmer for a Day,” small farm animal displays, pony rides, miniature golf, laser tag, obstacle course and the horse show.

Live entertainment on stage all weekend. Concession with pancake breakfast daily. car show on Saturday and a dog show on Sunday. Please remember to leash your dog if attending the fair.

There will also be $2 paid parking or take the shuttle bus for free.
