The Reel Youth Film Festival Program in Rossland

The Rossland Council for Arts and Culture and the Kootenay Association for Science and Technology (KAST) present Reel Youth Film Festival (RYFF) Saturday, Nov. 26 (noon) at Rossland Miners Hall, as part of the Rossland Mountain Film Fest.

The Reel Youth Film Festival Program: This program of short films showcases locally-made videos from youth filmmakers, along with with some of the best of international youth filmmaking.

Funds raised at this screening will support the upcoming U-19 film fest and gala: April 2012 at the Royal Theatre, Trail.

All submissions must: 

  • be made by people 19 years old and younger; 
  • be under 10 minutes (including titles and credits);
  • be original video (video you shot yourself) or have permission to use;
  • have original music or music you have permission from the artist to use.
