Energy Diet update from Fortis

FortisBC continues to be impressed with the tremendous energy that Rossland Energy Diet participants have put into saving energy.  In follow up calls, many of you are well under way or have already completed the planned energy upgrades to your homes. Book your post audit soon!

If you’ve already completed your energy upgrades, remember that you must have a post audit done to receive your rebates. Please keep in mind the following:

• Your post audit must be completed by March 31 to receive federal government rebates from the EcoENERGY program.
• LiveSmart BC and FortisBC rebates are ongoing. If your post audit is after March 31, you will qualify for these rebates only.

To book your post audit:

• Verda Tech has certified auditors scheduled to come to Rossland March 5 – 19 to complete the post retro-fit audits.  The cost of each post audit is $150.
• To deadline to book your post audit with Verda Tech is February 10.

I will be calling participants to book post audits but you are welcome to call me sooner to set up your time. If you have any questions about the post audit process, please give me a call.
