A male in his 30s was sent to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries yesterday, according to Tarrys Fire Chief Greg Patterson.

He said the call came in at roughly 5:15 p.m. regarding a collision between a truck and a motorcycle by the Glade Esso and Glade Road.

“Traffic was shut down on Hwy 3A for about half an hour,” Patterson said, adding the motorcyclist was conscious the entire time he was being treated and transported. “It worked out as best it could.”

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
