Police are looking for anyone with information regarding a hit-and-run yesterday, according to RCMP Cpl. Dave Johnson.

“Trail RCMP are investigating a hit-and-run vehicle incident that occurred on Highway 3B at Second Avenue in Trail on Oct. 24 at approximately 6:30 p.m.,” he said. “The victim vehicle was driving east bound over the Trail bridge and stopped at Second Avenue to make a right turn when they were struck from behind by another vehicle.

“The suspect vehicle was described as a dark green or black American made pick up truck with white lettering on the tailgate. The truck will have substantial damage to its front bumper and a partial licence plate may be DR 08. The suspect driver was described as a bald Caucasian male in his mid 30s.”

Johnson said the victims suffered minor injuries and, while there were witnesses, police would appreciate if anyone with any information regarding the accident would come forward.

Trail RCMP can be reached at 250-364-2566.
