The Trail Smoke Eaters are excited to announce the addition of Corey Cunningham from the Prince George Spruce Kings in exchange for future considerations.

Cunningham, who was born and raised in Prince George, is committed to play NCAA Div. 1 hockey next season at Merrimack College. The 20-year-old forward has played four seasons with the Spruce Kings, adding 73 points in 160 regular season games, including 12 more in the playoffs as he helped the Spruce Kings to a BCHL title, a Doyle cup and a second place finish at the RBC cup in 2018/19. Following that championship run Cunningham had his best career BCHL season so far scoring 44 points in 53 games.

The Smoke Eaters would like to welcome Corey and his family to the Smoke Eaters organization and we look forward to seeing him on the ice shortly.
