Re GLACIER HOWSER INDEPENDENT POWER PROJECT (IPP)

I attended a Public Meeting in Kaslo on 23rd June about the proposed Glacier Howser IPP project up the Duncan Valley north of Kootenay Lake. This turned out to be an amazing example of democracy in action. More than 1100 people showed up at the meeting….in a town with a population of only 1170.
