The Kootenay Boundary Credit Clinic is launching its first ever consumer credit and debt survey. The credit clinic is a new initiative of Castlegar & District Community Services Society aimed at providing education about debt, credit and financial management. The project includes free workshops throughout the region and an information and referral line.

The goal of the survey is to get a sense of where residents of the Kootenay Boundary region are at with respect to their financial concerns. The survey is very brief and completely anonymous. To complete the survey, just click on the link below. Amy Taylor, co-ordinator for the clinic, encourages everyone to pass along the information about the survey to anyone who may be interested in filling out the questionnaire.

“We can only collect 100 online survey responses. If you get a message that the survey is full, and you’d still like to participate, please contact me,” said Taylor.

The survey can be accessed online at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/86CZ3TQ.

For more information about the credit clinic or to request paper copies of the survey, please call 1-877-565-0013. The clinic is funded by the Law Foundation of BC, Columbia Basin Trust, Nelson & District Credit Union and Kootenay Savings.
