Smoke Eaters Sign Halliday For 2022/23

The Trail Smoke Eaters are thrilled to announce the signing of JT Halliday from St. Paul’s School in the USHS-Prep league for 2022/23.

Halliday, from Saugus, California, plays in with St. Paul’s School in the United States High School Prep League in New Hampshire, where he’s got 12 goals and 9 assists for 21 points in 22 games. The 5’7″ right shot forward will come to the Smoke Eaters as a player who has been sought after for some time, with a high compete and uses his speed effectively on the wing. Halliday, just 18 is the captain of his team at St. Paul’s school.

“JT is a player we have had on our radar for sometime,” says Smoke Eater General Manager and head coach Time Fragle.  “JT has a high motor and plays the game hard. He possesses a high IQ, offensive upside and leadership skills as the current captain of his prep team at St. Paul’s. We are excited to have him commit to the Smoke Eater program.”

The Smoke Eaters are excited to welcome the Halliday family to the Smoke Eaters organization and the City of Trail for next season! We look forward to seeing JT in Smoke Eaters orange this fall!
