On Saturday, Oct. 19, a frontline Trail and Greater District RCMP officer received a report that a 1978 John Deer 350 C bulldozer was stolen from a property in the 1300 block of Columbia Gardens Road in Fruitvale, according to RCMP Sgt. Mike Wicentowich.

The bulldozer was believed to have been taken from the property between 6:30 and 9 p.m. on the previous day. The bulldozer is worth between $10,000 to $15,000.

An older model, four door, blue Ford F150 was driving slowly by the property numerous times just before theft. The headlights of a truck were seen on the property around the time of the theft.
If you have any information about this crime or know the location of the bulldozer, please contact the Trail Detachment at 250-364-2566 to speak to an investigator.

We would like to push this investigation forward with information from the public, says Sgt. Wicentowich
