Motorcyclist sent to hospital after MVI with car

A motor vehicle incident has sent one to hospital Sunday afternoon, according to KBRFR Capt. Grant Tyson.
Tyson said, in a press release, that a collision between a motorcycle and a car happened in the 500 block of Columbia Gardens Road, between Waneta and Fruitvale.
He said the call came in at 1:43 p.m., and that a crew of three Trail firefighters were on scene by 1:55 p.m. The incident was under control by 2:15 p.m.
He said one patient was transported to hospital, but there is no word on the condition of the patient. The RCMP are investigating the situation.
