The Rossland Council for Arts and Culture is pleased to announce a one-time Resilience Award fund for local artists and art organizations residing in Rossland, Warfield and Area B.

The purpose of these awards is to lessen the impacts of the pandemic on the local arts community by giving back to artists and art organizations.

The RCAC hopes the funds can help artists and art organizations with a reopening plan, developing projects and work for artists, assisting with insolvency and to welcome back audiences.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate all of the following to be eligible for the award:

  • The total cost of the project, and a budget that shows how the award funds will be used.
  • That the award be used to fund a local artist, or local arts and culture production.
  • That the project or art can be completed and a report issued by 15 December 2021.
  • How and when the project or art  will be shared with, or benefit the local community

Rossland has a strong and diverse arts community with many established and emerging artists and creators that allow people to engage and connect with art. The RCAC Resilience Award will ensure the continuation and growth of Rossland’s art community.
