Hours after the National Hockey League announced it has put a pause on the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League followed with news the Junior B League has indefinitely suspended the 2019/20 playoffs due to ongoing concerns regarding COVID-19.
