MP Atamanenko to host Tax Disability Credit information session and Christmas open house

MP Alex Atamanenko will be hosting events at both ends of his riding of BC Southern Interior this week. Atamanenko and the Oliver Senior’s Centre Society will be hosting a Tax Disability Credit information session on Thursday, December 9th at the Seniors Centre at 34452 – 95 Street in Oliver. Staff from Canada Revenue Agency will make the presentation, with Alex’s Constituency Assistant, Lilly Zekanovic, on hand to assist.
“Anyone who has a disability that severely impedes your daily activities, no matter what your age, or their family care-giver might be interested in this, “ said Atamanenko. “They may qualify for a tax credit that could be very helpful to them.”
And in the West Kootenay, Atamanenko will be hosting his annual Holiday Open House at his riding office in Castlegar on Saturday, December 11th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at 337 Columbia Avenue.
“This Open House gives people another chance to come and speak with me or my staff, and it’s also a way I can say thank you to many my constituents and the great work they do throughout the year in their communities,” added Atamanenko.
