Hi I’m Glen, and I’ve been a healthcare worker repairing medical equipment at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital for the last 16 years. I live in Tadanac with my wife and 3 kids age 6, 8, and 10.

I enjoy volunteering in my community which includes experience on boards as President of the West Kootenay Cycling Coalition and Regional Director for the Conservative Party of BC.

As lead union steward of the Health Sciences Association Trail Chapter I have experience staying calm and respectful even in tense situations.

I have biked year round in Trail for over 5 years. Whether it is -20 or +40, you'll see me out there on two wheels! I really enjoy living in Trail, and some of my favourite things to do are work out at the local CrossFit gym, spend time outdoors with friends, and play fun games with my wife and kids.

I have 4 main goals in running for city council:

1. Make downtown a fun place to visit and hang out. Somewhere that people want to go if they are looking for something fun to do.

2. Build safe cycling routes between all communities, so that everyone has a safe way to travel around town, even if they are not able to drive a car.

3. Reduce bureaucracy and streamline services so that businesses and organizations have an easier time setting up and running in the city.

4. Improving access to community spaces such as gyms, play equipment, and community halls, so that it is easier to plan events and have fun with friends in the city.

I believe that the city would benefit from a councillor with a positive attitude, persistence, and a friendly demeanour to help keep city projects moving forward, and to encourage a healthy workplace environment for the staff who do such valuable work for the city.

Our City is better when we work together.
