Firefighters make quick work of early-morning vehicle blaze in Montrose
The second vehicle fire in as many days sent KBRFR crews to Montrose early Friday morning, according to Acting Cpt. Lee De Pellegrin.
This, after two vehicles burned to the ground in Genelle Wednesday evening (for full coverage, click here).
The call came in at 4;43 a.m., drawing three firefighters from Trail and two from Montrose.
Crews arrived to find one vehicle fully involved, but they were able to contain the blaze to said vehicle, with a nearby structure remaining unscathed.
From call to resolution, firefighters took only 11 minutes – the incident was under control by 4:54 a.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation by KBRFR.
