UPDATE: Omarah Baker-Ainsley has been found, alive and well.

On Oct. 16 at approximately 11 p.m., 16-year-old Omarah Baker-Ainsley was reported missing by her foster parent.  Omarah is new to foster care and failed to return to her foster home by her curfew.

She is described as 5′ 5″ tall, weighing 105 pounds, with long black hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a brown shirt, black sweater and black yoga style pants.    Police are not suspecting foul play at this time, as Omarah has been known to be gone for periods of time.  Drug use is believed to be a contributing factor as to why she failed to return to her foster home.  Police, family and friends are concerned and simply want to know the well being of Omarah.   The Castlegar RCMP Detachment is currently asking the public for assistance in locating this 16 year old female.  Please contact the Castlegar Detachment at 250-365-7721 should you have any information on Omarah’s whereabouts.
