Officers attempted to assist the Good Samaritan get the 36-year-old female home safely.

However, the intoxicated woman was not interested in the help and became hostile toward the officers.

Poor decision gets attention of NPD officers

Two males had better find a better location in the future to smoke a little pot.

While walking the beat Tuesday (March 4), an officer observed two males sitting in a vehicle in a parking lot in the 300 block Hall Street.

The member noticed the driver holding a large marijuana “bong” and the passenger in possession of a box with a small amount of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia inside.

Both were arrested and the incident investigated further.

Both males, with no other history of this type of behavior, were cooperative with police and appeared to have simply made a poor decision.

Therefore police decided not charge the pair for the possession of a controlled substance.

The drugs and equipment were surrendered for destruction.
