BREAKING: Homicide in Rossland

Police are investigating a homicide after a body was discovered at a residence Thursday morning.
On June 5, at approx 11:00 am the Trail and Greater District RCMP Detachment received a call in regards to the discovery of a body at a residence on Feeney Road near Rossland, B.C. Upon arrival police located the body of a deceased male inside the residence at that location. The death of this male is being treated as a homicide.
The investigation is in the preliminary stages and the identity of the deceased is not being released pending notification of his next of kin.
The RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit with assistance from the Kootenay Boundary Regional General Investigation Section continue to investigate and ask that anyone with any information contact the Trail and Great District Detachment at 250-364-2566 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
