Nelson & District Credit Union staff delivers on World Kindness Day

November 13 was a very special day and the Nelson and District Credit Union wanted to be part of this special event.
On November 13, World Kindness Day, Nelson & District Credit Union staff each carried out a random act of co-operation to start their work day.
To celebrate kindness, community and co-operation, each employee played a role by identifying a stand-out volunteer in the community.
On November 27, the Credit Union donated $100 to the local organization the chosen volunteer is affiliated with, in the name of that outstanding individual. Nelson staff helped to distribute $3500 back to several local organizations.
Nelson and District Credit Union feels that recognizing volunteers is the best way to celebrate community.
