UPDATED: Nelson Police report missing girl located

Nelson Police Department would like to thank the public for helping in the locating of a missing local girl.
“(The missing person advisory has been) rescinded as the missing person has been located alive and well,” said Sergeant Nate Holt.
“As always, thank you for your assistance.”
Nelson Police ask for public assistance in locating missing girl
Nelson Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old Nelson girl.
In a media release Sergeant Nate Holt said the girl is believed to have run-away from her residence in Nelson.
“Olivia Manziuk (who also goes by Olivia Manziuk-McMillan) was reported missing from her home and is believed to possibly be in the Warfield or Trail area,” Holt said.
Holt said Manziuk is described as a Caucasian female 165cm (5’5”) tall and 68kg (150 pounds) with black short hair (shaved sides). Manziuk was reported wearing multi coloured shoes and a black coat.
If anyone has seen Manziuk or has information to assist in the investigation, they are asked to contact their local law enforcement or Nelson Police Department (250-354-3919).
