High speed collision sends four people to hospital

On May 14, 2021 at 10:56 a.m., Trail and Greater District RCMP, Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue, and BC Emergency Health Services responded to a motor vehicle incident at the intersection of Highway 3B and Devito Drive in Trail.

A red Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) collided with a blue minivan in the intersection at a high rate of speed. Four people were taken to the hospital from the scene of the incident to be medically assessed for what police believe to be non-life threatening injuries.

The Trail RCMP continue to investigate the cause of this collision incident. Any witnesses, who have not yet spoken to police are asked to contact Trail RCMP.
