Ross: Laura Anne (nee Eyres) – It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Laura on Sunday, November 7, 2010 after a courageous battle with Huntington’s disease. She was born July 11, 1960.
Laura was predeceased by her parents Victoria and Floyd Eyres and is survived by her husband of 13 years, Frank, sisters Tracey (Warren), Karin (Greg), and Jean (Tim), nieces Denise (Colin) and Serina, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was born and spent most of her life in Trail where she worked primarily in the retail industry for many years. Laura was a loving and caring wife and sister who had an amazing outlook on life. She lived every day to the fullest despite her disease. Laura loved the outdoors, figure skating, stock car racing, going for walks, baking, interior decorating, socializing with friends and spending time with her family.
A celebration of Laura’s life will be held at Carberry’s Chapel on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Al Grywacheski of Personal Alternative Funeral Services is entrusted with arrangements.
