If you didn’t get enough horsepower fix on Saturday at the Road Kings’ Queen City Cruise, this Sunday the 24th annual Toy Run should fill that need.

The annual cruise for kids raises $25,000 annually to buy toys for children at Christmas time as around 500 riders are expected to ride around the Kootenays this Sunday.

As well, the money is used to support local food banks, women’s shelters and other social services.

Registration and a pancake breakfast begins the day at 8 am at the Castlegar Community Complex. Registration is $10 or a new unwrapped toy.

The toy run itself starts at 10 a.m. and goes through Nelson, Salmo, Fruitvale, Trail and Rossland, before heading back to the Castlegar Complex.
