Missing Trail teen found

A search for a young Trail woman with Down’s Syndrome ended well yesterday when she was found safe and sound near Fruitvale.
RCMP Sgt. Rob Hawton said police received a call in the mid-afternoon yesterday, saying 17-year-old Alyssa Berdusco had not shown up for school that morning.
“needless to say, it caused a lot of worry for her parents … but it ended well,” he said, explaining police, family members and the trasnit authority were looking for her. “We didn’t have any reason to believe she had come to harm.
“She was found at approximately 6 p.m. – she’s fine,” he added.
