Lotto 6/49 ship finally comes in for Surrey's Harry Black

A Surrey man, who has been playing the same numbers for the past 35 years, finally saw his ship come in in the April 13 6/49 draw.
The Lower Mainland player won half of a record-breaking B.C. Lottery Corporation grand prize with not just one, but two winning tickets.
The BCLC said that each of the four winning tickets in its $63.4-million Lotto 6/49 draw in April were worth close to $15.8 million.
Harry Black, 66, of Surrey, had two of those tickets.
Black was presented with two cheques totaling more than $31.7 million at the B.C. Lottery headquarters in Vancouver on Tuesday afternoon for having two tickets with the winning set of numbers: 02, 10, 17, 19, 44, and 47.
Black said he’s been playing the same winning numbers for about 35 years, since the lottery started.
The former cement mason and part-time film industry worker says he won’t quit his job, but he does plan to do a bit of traveling, including a visit to Scotland.
Black then plans to buy some land and build his dream house. Black says he’ll also invest his winnings and share a significant portion with his friends and family members.
The winning Lotto 6/49 ticket was purchased April 12 at the Chevron gas station on Scott Road and 104 Ave. in Surrey. Black, who also enjoys playing Lotto Max and BC/49, says before today’s big news he’d never won more than $10 at a time.
Vancouver resident Chad Seguin, 41 had the other ticket from the Lower Mainland.
The remaining ticket was sold in Alberta.
