2015 Polar Bear Dip set for High Noon New Year's Day at Lakeside Park

At High Noon, on New Year’s Day, many brave souls will jump into Kootenay Lake to participate in the 2015 Nelson Rhythm Ropers Polar Bear Dip.

Sponsored by the Nelson Rhythm Ropers, the horn sounds at High Noon (12:00) for those hardy souls eager to ring in the New Year with a swim in Kootenay Lake.

Registration is set to begin at 11 a.m.

Rhythm Ropers Skippers will provide chilli and hot chocolate to all participants and spectators.

Rhythm Ropers Skippers is the Nelson-based jump rope team which has achieved recognition provincially, nationally and internationally with their incredible displays of skill in skipping.

The Rhythm Ropers wow audiences whenever they perform and are the subject of conversation everywhere.
