Crime spree sees three men sentenced
Three men arrested in Castlegar after a brief crime spree have pleaded guilty and been sentenced, according to RCMP Cpl. Kelly Hall.
“On Jan. 27, Huyghebaert, Pike and Smith entered guilty pleas on a number of the charges,” Hall said. “As a result, Huyghebaert and Pike received sentences of 50 days in custody and a $100 Victim Surcharge each. SMITH received a sentence of 80 days in custody and a $100 Victim Surcharge.”
This, after an investigation of less than seven hours saw police arresting the three men, ranging in age between 22 and 44, after a variety of crimes.
