Police to investigate vehicle fire near Oasis

Police and fire officials are investigating a vehicle fire just off Hwy 22 by Oasis yesterday, according to KBRFR Cpt. Greg Ferraby.
He said the call came in at 1:09 p.m and crews were on scene by 1:20 p.m., with the situation under control by 1:28 p.m.
“The vehicle was fully engulfed in a wooded area,” he said, adding only the vehicle and a few neighbouring trees were involved.
The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.
