On Aug. 11, shortly before 5 p.m., North Okanagan Rural RCMP was notified by hospital officials of a man in critical condition, after being transported to hospital for medical care earlier that morning from a property along George Street in Enderby.
Due to the nature and extent of the victim’s injuries, the North Okanagan Rural RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) engaged the Southeast District Major Crime Unit (MCU) to assist in the developing investigation.
A location in Enderby was secured by police and forensic specialists, with the Integrated Forensic Identification Section (IFIS), were brought in to conduct a full examination of the crime scene. GIS and major crime investigators canvassed area residents for any information.
