Small zinc fire at Trimac

Three Montrose firefighters and 11 Trail firefighters, along with Teck Fire Rescue responded to a zinc fire Sunday morning, according to Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue Cpt. Grant Tyson.
He said the call came in at 8:30 a.m., and responders arrived within 10 minutes to find a very minor, but very messy, fire.
“The minor fire was contained to two zinc storage containers,” Tyson said..
The iincident was under control by 1 p.m.
