Water quality advisory for City of Nelson rescinded

Good news for residents of the City of Nelson.
The water quality advisory has been rescinded.
Effective Monday (July 30) City of Nelson staff, in consultation with the Interior Health Authority officials, has rescinded the advisirt that was issued earlier this month, July 16.
During the past two weeks the advisory was in place residents may have noticed some cloudiness but water tests have been good.
IHA also recommended that children, the elderly, people with weakened immune systems, and anyone seeking additional protection, drink boiled water or a safe alternative.
