RCMP investigate pair of golf course B & E's

RCMP in Nakusp and Slocan Lake are asking for public assistance in finding the culprits responsible for a pair of break ins at the Fauquier and Valley View Golf Courses.

Sunday (November 3) RCMP in Nakusp received a report of a break and enter at the Fauquier Golf Club.

Police learned that sometime between the Friday evening (November 1) and Saturday (November 2) morning  the lock was cut off a building on the property and access was gained.

The thieves also gained access to a fuel tank and stole over 100 gallons of fuel.

Saturday (Novembver 2) evening, culprits entered the property of the Valley View Golf Club in Perry Siding near Winlaw where they gained entry into the golf cart shed by cutting the locks off the building.

Police believe the suspect(s) parked close by and walked onto the property.
 
Both incidents appear to have occurred within a day of one another and may be related.

RCMP is continuing to investigate these incidents and request that anyone who may have noticed vehicles or suspicious person(s) in the above mentioned areas, to contact your local RCMP or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
