UPDATE: Missing Nelson man found safe and sound

Nelson Police are pleased to announce that Jason Davis was located by friends and family in the early evening on Sept. 1. He was given a ride home by friends and family and is doing well.

Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in providing the initial press release to a wide audience in a timely manner.

Nelson Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a Nelson man, Jason Davis, 45, who has not been seen or heard from since 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 1. He was last seen leaving Rosemont on a 2009 Yamaha Dual purpose dirt bike, white with blue markings, bearing BC licence plate E98762.

Jason was last seen wearing a brown snowboard jacket, jeans and black Doc Martin boots. He is six feet tall, 180 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes.
 

Nelson Police, family and friends are concerned for the well-being of Mr. Davis and wish to locate him as quickly as possible, if he is seen or his motorcycle located please contact your local police department.
